Goodbye Optus

Well, it’s not like we’ve been in touch or anything so it probably does not matter that I’ve gone away to a telecommunications provider whose network actually works.

Now my phone calls don’t drop out everyday, and my wireless broadband does not run so slowly that I can’t even tweet.  I can even use the internet on my mobile phone now (how modern!) and talk to clients and friends on my telephonic device for many minutes.  It’s like a miracle.

Sure the prices at Virgin were great & the customer service people were amazingly good (God bless Ken).  But the fact remains that the network just hardly ever worked as advertised </sigh>.

Sorry you never managed to make contact with me or fix up the issues. So it’s goodbye from me.

Hello Optus

Hi Optus
I don’t know who you are. You don’t really show me a human face. But I’m a customer, that is I’m a customer of Virgin who use your network to provide ’service’ to me. That’s things like mobile phone and wireless broadband.

I’m pretty unhappy with you. And it’s because my phone calls drop out all the time & I have pay to reconnect. It’s also because my wireless broadband does not work in really remote places like Bridge Street Sydney CBD or Surry Hills or Epping or North Ryde.

Sometimes it makes me sigh and refer to you as #badoptus.  Other times it makes me say rude things about you on Twitter.

regards
Kate
